I've been looking for the lid to my green pen

rush...of memories

i bought some dark sweet cherries the other day which the kids and i promptly devoured

while in the CONSUMING state

memories came flooding.....childhood summers spent up a cherry tree rushed to my remembrance & boy was it SWEET ! the family homestead had at least 3 tree's that produced these dark little ladies and man how inspiring where those days, those were the days of trampolines. hay fever.cousins.sprinklers.dance recitals.hill rolling.belly laughing.slip'n sliding.cherry pickin'... those were the days pre- real life struggles when each moment was carefree

......and you see this remembrance was a miracle in my life, for some time i've been longing to recall in full vivid memory something GRAND and carefree to buoy me up, fill my sails, anchor my vessel.....and there in a 3lb box of CHERRIES i am found.....a tender mercy to my soul and a delight to my taste buds

i knew those cup headed barbies reminded me of something, it's been bothering me all morning..........and it just came to me so here you have it

This morning a funny thing happened.......Emy drove her nudest Barbie's
{which is another topic for dicussion, why must they always be NAKEd}
into my room & yes those are clear plastic cups on said nudest's
heads, when questioned the little princess answered
"those are their hats silly mom"

Jax's LOVES pirates and has been having a difficult time reconciling himself to the fact that PIRATES are bad guys...............what follows is the song I heard coming from his room the other day
