the boss at his post
he is always on the look-out for
HORSES
man does he love his horses, he could stand here all day long
“LOOK….LOOK”
which is good because we live across from a horse training facility

I am in AWE of the man whom
I call “husband” !
I have packed……but a few boxes
I have unpacked……. fewer
I have slept & rested
Our move has been..painless
My spouse has been……..complain-less-ly caretaking
My Love has grown
He is truly my hero…my knight, if you will
I was worried about the move, given my current state of inability
but, not to worry my love has taken all responsibility in stride
I am a very Fortunate WOMEN…….
i have no words to express the felicity I have found in marriage…and even now my sentiments sound pithy considering the magnitude of joy my matrimony has afforded me
Thank You Don Angelo…..from the bottom of my heart & soul
Ahhh the wonderful toy...the box it can be used to do or make
ANYTHING ! The kids are having a blast while we're unpacking & just
yesterday a funny thing happened: Jaxs came downstairs and said "look
mom I'm Jack in the box!".
Your turn
Your turn
Your turn
School has been a bit of an adjustment for this little one…..to say the least
Quotes of Note:
just before walking in his classroom the first day, he grabbed me tight and whispered in my ear
“I’m scared”
after the first day of School
“I’m never going back to that place again”
after getting in trouble a few days later
“ Mom, now I WANT to go to school”
after hearing Jaxs’ ( our resident social butterfly) account of his many BEST friends
“I haven’t picked any friends…I don’t really like anyone in my class”
oh man….I know he’ll come around..we go through this every time he changes teachers/classes at Church as well…I just know soon he will be the favorite of Ms. Johnson and he will make friends….& then he’ll move to 1st…..
(please forgive the wrinkled table cloth……i promise this was the BEST i could do the night before BACK TO SCHOOL)
OUR Back to school THEME this year was taken from a wonderful talk given by
Wendy Watson Nelson: Not Even Once!
“We need families who are spiritually strong-- because they are morally strong-- courageous, honest and virtuous. “
“We need families who are spiritually strong --because they do what righteous men and women always do in difficult situations–they do what is the right! Not the convenient nor the popular–and certainly not the politically correct. Spiritually strong families do what is right! “
“We need families who are spiritually strong because they are comprised of husbands and wives and children of noble character—trustworthy, relentless in their pursuit of truth and of all that is good in the world. We need families who are undaunted in their efforts to lift and love others. Simply stated: We need families who are spiritually strong because they are filled with faith in God!……..Not Even Once Those three words in English may translate into a different number of words in other languages, but the concept has power! Think of what could happen if we each determined that from this moment on, there were certain things we would never do, or never do again -- NOT EVEN ONCE!…………..The Not Even Once principle can be applied to doing positive things as well. Imagine if every family, that was committed to the Not Even Once precept, determined that there were certain things they would never miss an opportunity to do! Not even once! ”
We dined & dished about the importance of being IN CHARGE of ourselves and our behavior. We cannot control what anyone else does…..we can only control our responses reactions & what we ultimately believe!
The night was beautifully concluded with incredibly protective blessings from the Mr.
