Happy Anniversary
Perfect love is rare indeed - for to be a lover will require that you continually have the subtlety of the very wise, the flexibility of the child, the sensitivity of the artist, the understanding of the philosopher, the acceptance of the saint, the tolerance of the scholar and the fortitude of the certain.
to a couple who inspire GREATNESS in marriage

******WARNING*****THIS FUNNY MONDAY MAY NOT BE SUITABLE FOR THE FAINT OF HEART, WEAK OF CONSTITUTION, OR THOSE LACKING EXPERIENCE WITH BOY HUMOR *****WARNING******
yesterday Jaxson drew something funny {i use the term funny loosely here, to some funny to others…not so much…}during sacrament meeting…sigh
so
it goes like this
the boss is in the pre potty training phase
which means he can drop trou at any moment with who knows maybe some intention of using the potty {probably not…} he always follows the loss of his trousers & diaper with an appeal to potty
so
one day Jaxson
Laying on the floor
watching a movie
the boss recently de-clothed comes running from the back room and plants himself on
Jaxson’s face
you can imagine why this incident continues to haunt Jaxs
{even after a few months}
so he prepared this visual for me
the brown boy is the boss
the blonde shocked boy is Liam
and the poor boy between the boss’ “cheeks” is none other than the VICTIM
this beautiful drawing was unveiled in the middle of
SACRAMENT MEETING
you can imagine the laughter it produced
…..oh and did I mention it was our first week in our new ward……..
I think those who were sitting around us KNOW us now…….i guess it’s better to go in with very low expectations………maybe…….i don’t know i gotta comfort myself somehow……i am TRYING not to think about WHAT THEY THINK OF US……sigh
your turn
your turn
your turn

Home Sweet Home: part two
the thing about our new home is that
it is a DISTANCE from the boys school
so yesterday
the BUS came…..for the first time
in the morning the Bus came for Jaxs
he ran to it without so much as a glance back in my direction
“the bus is awesome MOM !”
I didn’t see him ALL day {I usually peek in on him while dropping Liam at school in the afternoon}
7:50 a.m.-3:55p.m.
wow……i felt it
next at 12:15 I took Liam to meet the kindy BUS
he held my hand tight as I walked him to the door of the bus
as he walked up the stairs his eyes were locked on me
as the bus driver told him the rules for crossing the road his eyes were locked on me
so
I drove to school to await his arrival
as the bus pulled in I took my place by the doors
the doors swung opened and Liam leapt into my arms
HUGE SMILE
“did you like the bus ?”
“not really”
but what happened next gave my worried heart some respite
after a warm embrace & a few kisses
he ran to be with his new friend in the line
while walking to his classroom…..he barely looked back
He is going to be okay!
I feel as though it is the first day of school all over again
I have yet to make a bus drop with dry eyes
****note from the author****
remind me to tell you how Liam made his first friend……the story is sure to entertain

the look out post
the boss at his post
he is always on the look-out for
HORSES
man does he love his horses, he could stand here all day long
“LOOK….LOOK”
which is good because we live across from a horse training facility

my fortunate alliance
I am in AWE of the man whom
I call “husband” !
I have packed……but a few boxes
I have unpacked……. fewer
I have slept & rested
Our move has been..painless
My spouse has been……..complain-less-ly caretaking
My Love has grown
He is truly my hero…my knight, if you will
I was worried about the move, given my current state of inability
but, not to worry my love has taken all responsibility in stride
I am a very Fortunate WOMEN…….
i have no words to express the felicity I have found in marriage…and even now my sentiments sound pithy considering the magnitude of joy my matrimony has afforded me
Thank You Don Angelo…..from the bottom of my heart & soul
